A Time It Was: Bobby Kennedy in the Sixties

A Time it Was by Bill Eppridge

This June, I’m publishing a compendium of my photographs of Bobby Kennedy’s presidential campaign from 1966 and 1968. It has a great intro by journalist Pete Hamill. You can read the press release here, or pre-order the book here. Stay tuned for related book events and other developments as we get closer to the pub date!

Wonderful stuff! I have placed my order for your book. Thank you Bill for the memories.

I have always appreciated Bill’s work. Since I took the first shot that horrible night at the Ambassador I did not know what happened. His photos in LIFE gave me a sense of the devastation. I will be going to Louisville to narrate the Stanley Tretick collection this. Please let Bill know and ask him about an exhibit in LA.

I purchased the book on the first date it was available & read it cover to cover immediately – it’s amazing…and deeply touching. I really appreciate seeing the campaign through your eyes.
